Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the level of leisure and social activities, IADL, and life satisfaction of stroke patients residing in a local community according to their cognitive and physical functions.

Methods: The subjects of the study were 159 stroke patients. For testing, a Korean-Montreal Cognitive Assessment, an Outpatient Physical Therapy Movement Log, a Korean Activity Card Sort, and a life satisfaction level questionnaire were used. The Pearson's correlation and a multi-regressive analysis were also applied.

Results: Regarding the influences on the general activity level, the visuospatial executive functions, orientation, attention, abstraction, and lower limbs each had a significant influence. Regarding the IADL of the activity level, the visuospatial executive functions, orientation, attention, and lower limbs had a significant influence. For leisure, the orientation, abstraction, trunk, and lower limbs had a significant influence.

Conclusion: It is expected that if an occupational therapy program considering segmented cognitive and physical functions is applied, it will be helpful to improve the activity levels and life satisfaction of stroke patients in a local community.
